Cape Town Beaches
July 31st, 2008 . by adminCape Town is a great place for tourists to visit. One of the best attractions is arguable the number of beautiful beaches nearby. The best part is that they all offer different experiences for tourists of all taste. Most of them are also close to your Cape Town accommodation.
This is because of the slight differences in the peninsula. Beaches on the coast toward the Atlantic Ocean will offer milder water due to the icy water flowing in from the Antarctic Ocean. The beaches toward the Indian Ocean offer significantly warmer waters as they are cut off from the immediate ice flow. The good news is that they are both just a short drive from one another. You can easily try out both if you want.
There are plenty of other draws to the beach. Surfers will find plenty of great waves to catch around the turbulent waters of the Cape. There is a special contest held by Red Bull at cape town each year solely because of this famous surfing. The naturalists amongst us may wish to peacefully observe the beach life instead. Nearby Boulders Beach is renown for a protected colony of African penguins.
This is just one aspect to Cape Town. If you think this is interesting then look into Cape Town hotels soon to book your vacation.
